No Messi, Suarez or Neymar: How FC Barcelona may line up against Hercules

Luis Enrique will make a number of changes, reserving his best players for Real Madrid on Saturday

Barcelona's starting lineup for Wednesday night's Copa del Rey game almost picks itself.

Coach Luis Enrique has named a 16-man squad, 11 of which are first team players, including two goalkeepers.

Barça's defence of the title which they've won for the last two years kicks off against Hercules in Alicante at the Rico Perez Stadium. There are five B team players named in the squad, too.

With Aleix Vidal included, the back four, who will play in front of goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, is expected to be Vidal, Samuel Umtiti, Borja Lopez and Lucas Digne.

The midfield will be made up of Andre Gomes, Arda Turan and Denis suarez, with Nili, Paco Alcacer and Rafinha playing further forward.

Therefore, Sergi Roberto is likely to be left on the bench with the Clasico in mind. He will be joined by Aleña, Carbonell, Cardona and Masip.
