Aleix Vidal will start for Barcelona against Hercules in Copa del Rey
The one-time Sevilla man has not began a game since the loss to Alaves way back in September
Barcelona right-back Aleix Vidal is back in the squad for Wednesday's Copa del Rey game against Hercules.
Vidal, however, is not just included on the 16-man list, but will also start the game in Alicante at the Rico Perez stadium.
The former Sevilla man's good work in recent training sessions will see him compensated in the round-of-32 first leg game.
After missing the game against Real Sociedad to get married, with the club's permission, it will be his first time involved with the first team since he started against Alaves.
Since then, he's not been given a single minute by Luis Enrique -- and that was the third game of the season.
Barcelona are still looking for a right-back in January, though.
As SPORT revealed earlier this month, the club are sounding out the different options available on the market to strengthen the position due to Luis Enrique’s lack of confidence in Vidal.
The premise is that the operation doesn’t work out too expensively on an ecocnomic level.
