According to Sky Sport Italia, the Serie A side are likely to make a second bid

AC Milan are not giving up their pursuit of Barcelona defender Jean Clair Todibo. According to Sky Sports Italia, the Italian side will push for the defender in January.

Milan's first offer was worth around eight million euros, while Barcelona want around 12 million with an option to buy the defender back.

The Rossoneri have not been put off by being knocked back and are studying a second bid, according to the latest reports from Italy.

They are hopeful, too, because while they're four million short of Barça's asking price, they are prepared to include the buyout clause, something which Bayer Leverkusen, their rivals for the young Frenchman, are not keen on.

However, Milan are also making a Plan B. They will turn to Juventus defender Merih Demiral if they fail to land Todibo from Barcelona

Since joining Barça in January of 2019, Todibo has made five official appearances, two in the league last season, two more this season and one in the Champions League, last week against Inter Milan.
