The association are not happy with the current board and want them gone

Manifest Blaugrana have asked for Barcelona's presidential election to be advanced.

The Barcelona association, which is in opposition to Josep Maria Bartomeu, made up of a group of socios and Barça supporters and founded six years ago in the Ateneu Barcelonès, has asked the current board to "resign immediately and call, as soon as possible, elections."

'Manifest Blaugrana', in a five-point statement entitled 'Unique path, bring forward the elections', alleges as an argument "the loss of confidence by a vast majority of socios" regarding the board of directors of Bartomeu.

"FC Barcelona has been in free fall for a long time, which has ended up leading to unfortunate sporting and economic results that seriously endanger the present and future of the club," the statement explains.

After addressing in the first point the loss of confidence in the board, in the second they accuses them of not having managed to generate a sporting model, before in the third denouncing the increase in the debt at Barca.

In the fourth, they criticize the commitment to the 'Espai Barça', given that it is not the opportune moment for it due to the impact of Covid-19 nor has prior consultation been carried out with the Barça club members, while in the fifth and final point, the statement from Manifest Blaugrana highlights the social crisis in which FC Barcelona finds itself after 'BarçaGate'.
