Ernesto Valverde has named a 20-man squad for Tuesday's game against Inter

Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has named a 20-man squad for Tuesday's Champions League game against Inter Milan at the San Siro. 

Spanish champions Barcelona have already done their job and booked their place in the next round as group winners, so, on a sporting level, have nothing to play for in Italy this week. 

However, Inter are still battling for a place in the next round, with them and Borussia Dortmund competing to join Barça in the last 16 in the New Year. 

Despite that, Valverde's named an experimental squad, with Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique and Sergi Roberto all rested ahead of matches against Real Sociedad and Real Madrid in the next nine days. 

Four players are also injured -- Alba, Semedo, Dembele and Arthur -- so the coach has called up six players from Barça B: Iñaki Peña, Carles Pérez, Riqui Puig, Ansu Fati, Araujo and Morer.
