The French giants initially set the asking price at €300m but would now be willing to accept €222m, the same fee they paid two years ago

The stories surrounding Neymar Jr and a potential return to FC Barcelona aren't going away. In both France and Spain, the general consensus is that the Brazilian is likely to leave PSG this summer.

After the PSG president admitted that the open was open should Neymar ask to leave, Barça's vice-president Jordi Cardoner gave a further update. "It's true that Neymar wants to return to Barça."

However, it's clear that Neymar's departure still hurts at the club. "I didn't like how things went when he left."

Barça are open to bringing Neymar back but insist they aren't currently in negotiations to make that deal happen. "The topic isn't on the table. As directors, we aren't looking at this and we haven't signed anybody. The two sides aren't 'in contact'," insisted Cardoner.

According to 'Le Parisien', PSG originally slapped a €300m asking price on Neymar's head. But they also confirm that PSG are willing to lower that to €222m, exactly what they paid Barça for the Brazilian two years ago.
