Neymar's return is drawing closer thanks to his determination to come back to Camp Nou. PSG and Barca have been speaking and the operation is taking shape. The big news is that PSG would like Ousmane Dembele to be included in the deal.
They have a problem with Neymar. They know he doesn't want to come back to Paris, but they don't want to just give him away, and even less to Barca. In the first contact, they told Barca they valued Neymar at 300m euros, per La Parisien. Barcelona do not agree, but that is just the starting point.
What is clear for Barcelona is that they need to exchange Philippe Coutinho or another player as they will not pay that much in cash. The player is interested and Barca would like to pay 100m euros plus Coutinho to bring Ney home.
PSG are interested in Dembele though. For financial reasons the idea would be that he joins on loan for a year with an obligatory option to buy. Similar to the deal that brought them Mbappe from Monaco. Dembele is liked by PSG's technical team.
Barca declared him untransferrable a few days ago but they need to beat Ney's price down. Dembele doesn't mind the idea either.
For now both sides are working on this tricky puzzle but when Neymar comes forward publicly it could unblock things.
