The new Barcelona forward is looking forward to the challenge facing him at Camp Nou

Antoine Griezmann, speaking for the first time as a Barcelona player, has said he does not regret the documentary he starred in which saw him reject the club last summer.

The former Atletico Madrid man looked set to join Barça in 2018 before a late U-turn saw him remain in the Spanish capital. His whole thought process -- over a period of months -- was filmed for television.

Griezmann, 28, says if people want him to apologise for the documentary, which was called The Decision, he will do so on the pitch.

"I have done various bad things in the past," Griezmann said. "But I have never regretted anything because they're things I wanted to do at the time.

"I didn't play with either of the two sides. In the end, [ and I] are now together and I can't wait to wear the shirt. If I have to apologise, I will do so on the pitch. That's where I do my best talking."

The France international will wear the No.17 shirt at Barça and has signed a five-year deal with an €800 million release clause.
