Bartomeu says Griezmann's presentation not the time to talk Neymar
The Barcelona president didn't speak about the possible arrival of the Brazilian
Josep Maria Bartomeu didn't want to talk about the possibility of signing Neymar during Antoine Griezmann's presentation.
The Barcelona president was asked about Neymar's possible return after the Brazilian said the best moment of his career was beating Paris Saint-Germain with the Catalan side.
Bartomeu said: We are delighted to present Griezmann, a player we wanted for a long time. Now our paths have finally crossed and it is great news for Barcelona.
"It's a signing which generates a lot of excitement, he is one of the best forwards in the world. As for everything else, it is not the time for it, today is about celebrating the arrival of a star."
Bartomeu also revealed he's spoken with Atletico Madrid after they claimed they were due 200 million euros for Griezmann. Barça paid the 120 million after his release clause dropped on July 1.
The president said he doesn't think Atletico's claim will progress "positively" but said he understands their desire to protect their interests.
