Roma's sporting director Monchi signed Deulofeu when he was at Sevilla

Barcelona still have until June 30 to re-sign the player for 12 million euros

Gerard Deulofeu is currently in Poland with Spain U21s and is focused on that for now, parking talks over his future next season. Despite that, the market is moving around him and he's being linked with clubs who are reportedly interested in his services.

The latest is Roma, whose sporting director Monchi previously took him to Sevilla -- although he did not play much under Unai Emery. The website 'Romanews' claim the Giallorrosso want to strengthen their attack with the Catalan winger, who proved at Milan he's a good fit with Italian football.

His agent, Ginés Carvajal, talking to the same website, though, has played down the chances of a move to Roma. However, he didn't shut the door, saying that "Roma are a great club, but it's all hypothetical."

Barça still have the chance to re-sign him from Everton for 12 million euros. They must execute that clause before June 30. So far there's been no confirmation that the club have executed it, though.
