Napoli's president is angry that UEFA didn't move the match away from the Camp Nou

Napoli's president, Aurelio di Laurentiis, has given his opinion on rumours that his side's match against FC Barcelona could've been moved to Portugal. Unsurprisingly, he doesn't feel the match should take place in Spain due to the rising coronavirus cases in the country, "I've been calling UEFA all the time but this is an embarrassment. You hear a lot of scary things about Spain and they don't seem to care. Why are they talking so long to decide whether we play in Portugal, Germany or Switzerland?"

And di Laurentiis wasn't finished there. "It's like we are school. No one at UEFA knows how to negotiate and, to rub salt in the wound, it's our money. If they decided that the Champions League would be played in Portugal and the Europa League in Germany, we should also be able to go there. I don't understand why we must go to a city that right now is having a lot of major problems."

As things stand, UEFA aren't expected to change the venue for Barça's 2nd leg match against Napoli on the 8th August. A spokesperson told SPORT: "The match will be played in Barcelona as planned. Nothing has changed."

UEFA haven't ruled out a change of venue should the situation in Barcelona become much worse.
