Lenglet is recovering well but there's a lack of backup for the Napoli game

The bad news keeps on rolling in for Quique Setien. Barcelona B defender Jorge Cuenca, who was likely to be in the squad against Napoli next week, is the latest defender to pick up an injury.

Barça confirmed on Thursday, with nine days to go before Napoli, that Cuenca has suffered an adductor injury, although they didn't say how long he will be sidelined for.

Samuel Umtiti and Ronald Araujo are already sidelined, while Clement Lenglet has only just returned to light training following his own fitness problems.

Lenglet should be fine for Napoli, meaning he will partner Gerard Pique, but beyond those two there is a lack of backup at centre-back for the important European game.

Even Sergio Busquets, an emergency option for that position, is suspended for the game, as is Arturo Vidal, who filled in at centre-back against Alaves in the final league game of the season.
