Ali Dursun says a decision could be made in the coming weeks

Despite labelling recent reports "premature", Frenkie de Jong's agent says it won't be long before the Ajax midfielder commits to a new team.

Ali Durson has been speaking about his client's possible destinations with Voetbal International and he said that he things "a choice could be made in the coming weeks."

The three clubs most likely to sign the Dutch international are Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.

De Jong's agent confirmed that the announcement of the player's next move will be related with his performance during the second half of the season -- "so that after the holidays he can completely focus on football, with Ajax and the national team."

The player's father said last week that "Barça would be the best decision" but the player himself says his choice will be based on "perspective."

Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana, formerly of Barça, told SPORT on Wednesday that De Jong has been asking him about life at Camp Nou.

Signing De Jong will not be cheap. Ajax are asking for around 75 million euros, a figure which makes PSG the favourites to land him.
