FC Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu spoke to RAC1. One of the talking points was Quique Setien, the Barca coach whose position is in doubt as the team have played irregularly and given Madrid the lead in the title race.
"Quique will stay," said Bartomeu. "I'm quite happy with the evolution that we've shown in these games, despite the draws. The recent games have shown the team in a better light and I hope it stays that way. If we don't win the league we still have the Champions League.
"I don't regret Valverde's change. The team and dressing room needed an impulse. Setien is a firm backer of the Barca model and he has a DNA that fits the club. He's brought fresh winds and new ideas and he's working a lot."
