Barcelona's Javier Mascherano has offers to move to China
The Argentine feels his future may be best served away from Camp Nou
Eventually he wants to end his career at River Plate and become a coach
According to 'Don Balón', Javier Mascherano is seriously considering leaving Camp Nou at the end of the season. The player's representatives have received various offers, among them some from Chinese football.
Even though Mascherano renewed his deal in October 2016 untul 2019 ahd his desire is to end his career at River Plate, the defender-midfielder is thinking of taking another step before making a return to Argentina.
Close to 33, the Argentine international feels his time at Barça is coming to an end, but he's still keen to play for his country at the World Cup next summer.
His intention is to return to River and end his career there, but the tempting offers he's receiving could see him make another move first. With changes coming at Barça -- beyond just Luis Enrique leaving this summer -- he feels it may be a good time to step away.
Mascherano has also maintained he wants to go into coaching, but before then he has more football in his boots. As well as China, there's also interest from Turkey and Italy in the Barça player.
