Barça forward Munir available for free after Spain's winter break
Barça have tried to tie him down to a new deal but have been unsuccessful
Munir joined Barcelona as a teenager and progressed to the first team after a starring role in the UEFA Youth League.
But he was soon loaned out to Valencia and then Alaves. Barça recalled him this season but he is out of contract on June 30, 2019, and his time at Camp Nou looks to be coming to an end.
The forward is still only 23 and has a good reputation in the game. There will be no shortage of interest in him in the summer.
What is now known is that he will not be at Barça next season. Munir is off over the winter break until Jan. 2, the date when he is free to negotiate with other clubs.
There will be offers from LaLiga, the Premier League, Serie A... Barça have tried to tie him down to a new deal but have been unsuccessful.
Munir does not want to continue at the club and is free to sign a pre-contract agreement from January with another team.
