Munir's future is not clear. Barcelona and the player have spent months exploring the best formula to extend the forward's contract, although there's still nothing close.
There are plans for a meeting between Munir's agent, Francesc Valdivieso, and Barça's CEO on Tuesday. It's not the first meeting and it will not be the last.
Barça's intentions have been clear from the start: the club want to prolong Munir's contract after seeing his development since last season.
Ernesto Valverde wants him in his squad and, therefore, want him to sign a new deal with an increased salary and an improved release clause -- his current terms expire next summer.
However, Munir and his people have doubts. After two loan spells in the last two season, the player now prioritises the sporting project. He wants minutes to keep growing as a player.
At Barça, it's not clear how much he will play, despite getting chances in the last week and scoring the equaliser against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.
Conversations will continue but there does not appear to be an immediate ending.
