The defender is taking medical tests after the Catalan derby
Barcelona defender Gerard Pique is taking tests at the club's training ground on Monday after hurting his knee against Espanyol. He was hit by a tough tackle from Gerard Moreno in the final minutes of the game.
Barcelona are worried he might be out for the coming weeks - with the Chelsea Champions League last 16 first leg around the corner - although they have to wait to see the results of the tests before knowing.
What is clear is that he will likely miss the Copa del Rey semi-final second leg against Valencia and with Thomas Vermaelen not yet ready to play, it seems Yerry Mina will make his debut alongside Samuel Umtiti at the back.
