Arthur prevented from watching Barça take on Napoli at Camp Nou

Quique Setién confesó que no ha hablado con Arthur Melo desde que se fue de vacaciones / | FC Barcelona

The Brazilian has not been granted permission to enter the stadium on Saturday

Arthur Melo will not be inside Camp Nou for Saturday's Champions League last 16 game between Barcelona and Napoli.

The Brazilian midfielder returned to Barcelona this week but is not accredited for the game by the club and UEFA, due to the coronavirus pandemic, are being very strict with security measures.

Access to the ground is limited and despite Arthur's intention to watch the game live, he will not be able to as his name is not on the list of people allowed to enter the stadium.

Instead, he has had to return home and will follow the game on television.

Arthur's situation at Barça remains unresolved. He returned to Catalonia this week and was tested for coronavirus, with the result coming back negative, but the relationship between player and club is not good.

He didn't return to training last week and has a meeting pending with Eric Abidal to negotiate his immediate future ahead of his transfer to Juventus.

If Barça beat Napoli and make the final eight in Lisbon, he's made it clear he doesn't want to play for the club again. His attitude has annoyed the club and his failure to return to training will see him fined.
