The reason why Deschamps vetoed Benzema's return to France squad

The relationship between Didier Deschamps and Karim Benzema appears to be broken. This is what is being suggested in France and in Madrid, ensuring that the fact that the coach did not wait for the Real Madrid striker until he recovered from his injury (he could have played from the round of 16) only responds to the fact that the relationship between the two is not up to scratch.

According to the journalist 'Qatari', that relationship has broken for a reason. Per his information, Deschamps is upset because, during the Ballon d'Or ceremony, Benzema did not list his name among those that he thanked -- remember the France coach was influential in bringing the Madrid striker back into the France fold.

That fact, along with other gestures that Deschamps has not liked, has proved enough for the coach to decide to do without Benzema, taking advantage of that minor injury to leave him out of the World Cup.

The French Federation wanted the No.9 to go to the final, at least as a spectator, but Benzema has already said no, despite the fact that he could officially be world champion as he had not been dropped from the squad with France.

Remember Benzema was named in the 26-man squad but left before the tournament started due to a minor injury. He is back training with his club, Real Madrid.
