Seung Woo Lee, from La Masia to the Russia World Cup
The South Korean former Barcelona B player is in the final squad
Shin Tae-yong, South Korea coach, named his 23 man squad for the World Cup on Saturday and in there is Seung Woo Lee, formerly of Barcelona B.
Currently at Hellas Verona, the midfielder arrived at La Masia in 2011 from Incheon United and debuted with Barca B in 2016-17.
He was an U17 and U20 player for his country and in 2017 was named the most promising player in Asian football.
At Barca his career was cut short when the club were banned from playing him after they got in trouble for how they signed young players.
After the ban he opted to keep growing in his country and then moving to Italian football.
