The Atletico Madrid man comes into the side at right-back in the last 16 game

Luis Enrique has named his Spain team for the round of 16 game against Morocco at the World Cup in Qatar, with Marcos Llorente the surprise pick.

The Spain coach has picked the same XI that beat Costa Rica 7-0 in the opening game with the exception of Cesar Azpilicueta, whose place at right-back is taken by Atletico Madrid's Llorente.

Llorente is joined in defence by Rodri, Aymeric Laporte and Jordi Alba, with Sergio Busquets, Gavi and Pedri the chosen midfield three.

There were doubts about who would start in attack, with Lucho opting for Asensio to play through the middle in the end ahead of Alvaro Morata.

Asensio is flanked by Ferran Torres and Dani Olmo, who has been Spain's No.1 attacker for Luis Enrique throughout the competition so far.

Spain XI: Unai Simón; Marcos Llorente, Rodri, Laporte, Jordi Alba; Busquets, Gavi, Pedri; Ferran Torres, Asensio and Dani Olmo.
