Former Barça coach Luis Enrique: Gavi can mark a new era

Spain coach Luis Enrique has praised Gavi ahead of the crucial clash against Germany in the second matchday of the group stage of the 2022 World Cup: "He can mark a new era".

The Asturian, who is managing this young, daring and dynamic team, has blind faith in the Barça player: "The most surprising thing for everyone is that someone who is 18 years and 100 days old has that kind of confidence".

The former Barça and Roma coach also gave his general view of the team.

"Perhaps I didn't expect to see such a powerful version of the team on their debut. It was a pleasure to see the players perform like that" he concluded.
