The striker spoke after the Spanish national team's 1-1 draw with Germany
Alvaro Morata was the scorer of Spain’s goal in the 1-1 draw with Germany.
He was pleased with the result in the end even if Spain let in a late equaliser.
“It’s the Germans, a great national team, they had one chance and took advantage of it,” he said.
“We have to see that we played against Germany, a great side. We have to analyse the positive things and keep working like we do in each game.
“They played a good match, it was hard, they are a national team that could be among the favourites, we have to look at the positives.”
Later as the man of the match, he spoke again and was asked about being a substitute.
“I feel comfortable playing in the national team, the demand is really high, the same if you’re a starter or sub, I want to win all games, I’m a soldier like the rest of them and we’ll go to the death together. As well as being a great team we are a great group and very united.”
