Setien: At Barca I could not be myself

New Villarreal coach Quique Setien said that he was looking forward to starting at an "exceptional" club.

"I could not have come to a better place," he said. "I feel a very happy person and I am really excited to be here. I have to recognise that I didn't have a lot of enthusiasm to coach, and I said no to some other offers, but this is a family club, very close. I found a great dressing room, full of great players, a good group, and I want to enjoy things with them at a club which has made itself and is among the best."

On his failed time at Barcelona, he said: "I was not myself there, I could not be, but I'll keep the experience and one always comes out stronger from them."
