The Dutch side want to sign the Uruguayan for the second time in his career

Ajax are ready to bring the Uruguayan forward Luis Suarez back from Barcelona, according to a report in his homeland from Teledoce.

Marc Overmars, the Dutch club's sporting director, is open to the option of re-signing Suarez, who played for the club before moving to Liverpool in 2011.

According to the report, Ajax will make Barça an offer in the coming weeks, while there is also interest in Suarez from Major League Soccer in the United States and Qatar side Al-Arabi.

At 33, Suarez could be the perfect signing to add experience to a young Ajax side, similar to what Huntelaar has done in recent seasons.

Suarez made a huge impression while in Amsterdam. He played 159 games for the club between 2007 and 2011, scoring 111 goals and setting up 68 goals.

This season, he has scored 21 goals for Barça, who he joined from Liverpool in 2014, and set up a further 11.
