Lopetegui confirms Jules Kounde could leave Sevilla

Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui said on Friday that he is looking forward to facing Tottenham in Korea but also admitted that defender Jules Kounde may not stay at the club.

“One very important player, Diego Carlos, left, and maybe the other starting centre back (Jules Kounde) will too,” said Lopetegui. “We don’t know what will happen. They are difficult to replace and we will have to help Marcao (new signing from Galatasaray) adapt quickly to what’s demanded of him.”

Barcelona are keen on signing Kounde, although they have lots of competition for the French centre-back.
