The former Spain coach thinks the team is in an extraordinary moment

Vicente Del Bosque, Spain's previous coach, spoke about the upcoming World Cup and Julen Lopetegui's squad for the tournament.

"I think it's very good. It's been a perfect qualification phase in all senses. In the friendlies we also had an extraordinary response and everyone feels the national team is arriving in an extraordinary moment and better than almost all the rest.

"Everything is opinions until the list is given and I'm sure (Lopetegui) has used common sense to see who are the best to take, to have a team and the different solutions you need through the competition. I'm sure the person who's studied the list best and prepared the best is Julen.

"(On Morata) they are decisions taken by the club (Madrid) and the player, who thought it was a good idea to go to Chelsea. He's very young, he's been at Juventus, Real Madrid, Chelsea, and still has a fantastic career in front of him."
