The RFEF president is excited about the coach and what he can do for the national team

The president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales, believes in Luis Enrique Martinez, the current Spain coach.

Rubiales said that "we have a new coach who we believe in a lot, Luis Enrique". Lucho is "in a phase of reconstruction in which I believe he will put a country like Spain where they belong."

On May 17, 2018, Rubiales took over and he believes that he has done good work so far and he is pushing for "a federation closer to the fans, more transparent. We want a rigourous, serious, modern and 'close' federation."

Rubiales sacked Julian Lopetegui as Spain coach ahead of the World Cup after the trainer agreed to be Real Madrid's next manager.
