Luis de la Fuente calls up four Barca players into Spain squad

Coach Luis de la Fuente's list for the matches against Scotland and Norway is out, and there are four Barça representatives on it. The coach has opted for Gavi, Balde, Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres. A choice that has confirmed what was expected.

There have been no surprises, despite the fact that the coach had included two more Barça players in the pre-list: midfielder Oriol Romeu and centre-back Iñigo Martínez. The former has been a regular for Xavi in most games, while the former Athletic player is playing very little.

Neither of the two will take part in the two matches to be played on 13 and 15 October, against Scotland and Norway respectively. Gavi, Balde, Lamine and Ferran Torres, who have all featured in Spain's recent matches, will be there. Of the four, Gavi and Lamine are the most likely to start. Both of them are important players in the coach's plans.

Balde, meanwhile, was a substitute in Gaya's last two games, while Ferran was also a substitute, but his impact was very important for the team when he was on the pitch.

Also missing from the squad is Ansu Fati, who is playing a big part for Brighton, where he has already made his debut as a goalscorer, although he is not yet showing his best form.
