The former Barcelona coach has his eye on a new job for the 23-24 season

Luis Enrique has said goodbye to the Spanish national team and, for now, to international football.

In his talk with the streamer Ibai Llanos on Monday, the former Barcelona coach pointed out that he has enjoyed the experience with Spain, but right now he sees ready for a return to club football -- a different dynamic and way of working.

After his work with La Roja, Luis Enrique is ready for a change.

"It is an experience that I would repeat (his Twitch stream), but I don't see myself at another World Cup," Luis Enrique said. "I feel ready to take on a club, (but) I will wait until next season unless something very interesting comes along."

In theory, then, Luis Enrique will wait for the 2022-2023 season to end before leading a new project. We'll see where.

The coach has already shown his worth at the clubs where he has been previously. Barcelona, Roma and Celta Vigo are among his ex-clubs and he will not be short of job offers. For now, though, he'll take it slowly.
