Brais Mendez replaces Pedri in the Spain squad for the Nations League
The midfielder from Celta Vigo is standing in for his Barcelona counterpart
Luis Enrique has replaced Pedri in his Spain squad after the Barcelona midfielder suffered an injury relapse. The youngster hurt his quadriceps after just returning from that issue.
The Canarian will not be playing for Barcelona on Saturday night against Atletico Madrid.
The replacement is Celta Vigo’s Brais Mendez. He is back in the Spain squad for the Nations League final four.
The Celta man had been in previous squad lists for games against Sweden, Georgia and Kosovo, playing in the first two.
