Ansu Fati could miss Spain call up because of red tape

Ansu Fati could end up not included in Spain’s squad because of red tape. The RFEF still don’t have the papers they need to call up the Barcelona forward and are waiting for FIFA’s go-ahead.
Per AS, Robert Moreno, Luis de la Fuente and RFEF chief Molina met this afternoon to discuss the player’s near-future.
FIFA said, per AS, that it would take five to seven days to get an answer from them over Ansu.
That means they may call him up to get him in the group even if he doesn’t eventually play.
The RFEF want him to play for the U21 squad. There he would play against Germany on October 10 in a friendly, then Montenegro in a qualifier on the 15th.
