They had covid tests and medical probes after 21 days of holiday
Espanyol's starting gun has fired. After 21 days of holiday, Espanyol have returned. They had PCR coronavirus tests, medical revisions and fitness probes. The change is that Vicente Moreno is on the bench. The players are back and ready to try and fight their way back to La Liga.
All players and staff took the PCR tests and then worked in two groups. Some doing fitness tests at the Dani Jarque, others taking their medicals at the Corachan Clinic.
Even though Espanyol have not signed anyone yet, they had reinforcements. Lluis Lopez is back after being loaned to Tenerife, and Alex Lopez after his time at Lugo.
