Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid coach, has been annoyed for days. The French coach has started to detect worrying symptoms in the attitude with which his players are taking on the season and has not hesitated to give them a ticking off.
According to Marca the second time he did this was at half-time in the match at the Santiago Bernabeu against Apoel Nicosia. Zidane was angry with the team's performance in the first 45 minutes and said they lacked intensity and aggression when it came to winning the ball, asking for more concentration and rhythm.
It worked, with Madrid ramping home their quality advantage to win 3-0 in the second half, playing much better.
