Zinedine Zidane: If I didn't pick the team, I'd leave
The coach was asked if his hand is being forced by the president over some of his selections
Real Madrid caoch Zinedine Zidane spoke to the media on Saturday ahead of the final game of the season against Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu. Asked about if his hand was being forced over selections and the situation of players like Keylor Navas and Gareth Bale, the coach said: "If I didn't pick the team and who played, I'd leave."
On Navas, he said: "I don't see it as a goodbye game, nor do I want to think about what will happen next year. They talk a lot about one staying, one going. What I said is that next year the goalkeeping situation will be very clear, let's see what happens."
On Bal and Isco he said: "Tomorrow he'll (Bale) be in the squad and that's it. I won't say anything about (Isco's) future, it's personal."
