Zinedine Zidane: I don't think Cristiano Ronaldo looks anxious

The Real Madrid coach was delighted with another good performance from his team vs. Espanyol

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane doesn't think Cristiano Ronaldo came across as anxious during the 2-0 win over Espanyol on Saturday.

Alvaro Morata and Gareth Bale scored the goals and at times Ronaldo looked frustrated at not being able to get on the score sheet himself.

"Everytime he doesn't score, we can say that he's anxious, but I don't see him that way," Zidane said after the game.

"I think he's fine, happy. He's helped us. He played well and he ran a lot. I'm not worried, I know that he will make the difference in the key moments."

Madrid rotated their side for the game and Zidane was happy with the performance from all of his players.

"Those that were picked went out and produced a serious game," the Frenchman added. "It was an important game to keep our good run going.

"I'm happy with those that don't olay as much. I want all the players to be ready and raring to go. [All the players] are happy to help in each moment, that's important.

"No we have some difficult games coming up away from home. The game in Valencia on Wednesday is important, because it's one of our two games in hand."
