Zidane: What PSG and Lyon have done is a great success for French football
The Real Madrid coach is happy that the clubs have done well in Europe this season
Zinedine Zidane spoke in Aix-en-Provence, a nice city in France, about how well the clubs have done. The Real Madrid coach praised PSG and Lyon, who got to the Champions League final and semi-final respectively.
"It's the first time that PSG are in the final and Lyon are in the semis, it's great for the clubs and French football," said Zizou.
"People don't usually talk well about Ligue 1, I say it's a good league, complicated, difficult, and to see French teams do well in the Champions League is good to give a boost to that.
He added, on Madrid: "To have restarted the league, finished it and won it, I will tell you it was the best day of my life."
