Cristiano Ronaldo was a protagonist in the press conference Zinedine Zidane took on Tuesday ahead of Real Madrid's Copa del Rey second leg against Celta Vigo. Zidane confirmed Ronaldo would start but did not defend him over the whistles he received from the Santiago Bernabeu.
"No, I will not talk about this," he said when asked. "We do the best we can for the people that come. We want the same thing. I don't know if it's fair or unfair. We need the fans. It has always been like this, and it will not change. The only thing I will say is that we need the fans."
On the Portuguese forward starting against Celta Vigo he added: "Cristiano is well and is doing well for us. He took a hit which has disruped him, but he's OK and it's not an injury."
