Zidane: "Pogba? We know what we want and we're working on it"
The Real Madrid coach didn't hide his admiration to bring the midfielder to the club this summer
Real Madrid's head coach Zinedine Zidane is refusing to give up on signing Paul Pogba this summer. The Manchester United midfielder didn't follow through with his threat to go on strike to force a move away but Zidane is determined to land his man.
In a press conference ahead of his side's preseason opener, Zidane was asked about his compatriot.
"Pogba? We know what we want and we're working on it," insisted Zidane. "Until the 31st of August we can make changes, players can leave and others could arrive."
When pressed as to whether Pogba was key to his plans for next season, Zidane refused to say any more.
"The club and I have a plan so we'll see what happens."
