The coach doesn't want to look too far into the future

He remains under pressure despite PSG win in midweek

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane tried to dodge questions related to his future at the club during his press conference ahead of Sunday's trip to Real Betis.

Zidane recognised that coaching Madrid is draining but he didn't go any further, insisting that he's focused on the day-to-day.

"For me, the most important thing is what I am doing now, the day-to-day, I want to finish this season, there are things in play, that's what interests me," he said. "I don't want to talk about the rest, it doesn't interest me."

Marcelo and Sergio Ramos have supported Zidane since Tuesday's win over Paris Saint-Germain.

"I know how a dressing room works," Zidane added. "I spent 18 years as a player and I know what they go through. I like that connection, it's what I look for. Of course I appreciate what the players say."

The journalists, however, insisted on talking about his future at Madrid, which led Zidane to recognise that "it's draining to be a manager and even more so at Real Madrid."

And he added: "Of course a moment could arrive where there is a change, but that's for everyone, not just the coach. It's not the moment now, but I am sure it will happen. It's a draining profession, here more than anywhere else."
