Zidane equals Luis Molowny with eighth trophy in less than two years
The French coach is already one of Madrid's most successful managers
In 2017 alone, Zidane has steered Los Blancos to five trophies
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane won his eighth trophy as the club's manager after beating Gremio 1-0 in the Club World Cup final.
As a result, he moved level with Luis Molowny as the coach with the second most trophies in the club's history.
The French coach took over in January 2016, replacing Rafa Benitez, and has since won: 1 La Liga, 2 Champions Leagues, 2 Club World Cups, 2 European Super Cups, 1 Spanish Super Cup.
Ahead of Zidane and Molowny is Miguel Muñoz, who won 14 trophies between 1959 and 1974 -- Zidane's needed less than two years to get half that total.
In 2017, he has won five trophies, one less than the six won by Pep Guardiola's Barcelona.
