Zidane dumps Kroos and Bale from Madrid XI vs Man City
The Real Madrid coach went with Vinicius ahead of the Welshman, Modric in midfield
Zinedine Zidane has left Toni Kroos and Gareth Bale out of his starting XI against Manchester City in the Champions League last 16. The coach has opted for Fede Valverde and Vinicius Junior in their places for the clash at the Bernabeu.
Marcelo has also been dropped for Ferland Mendy, unsurprisingly. Eden Hazard is out injured. This is the Madrid team:
