Koeman said a penalty should have given a penalty for Ramos handball on Sunday

Zinedine Zidane said he was annoyed by Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman's criticism of the refereeing in Real Madrid's win over Eibar on Sunday.

Koeman said he was surprised a penalty wasn't given against Sergio Ramos for a handball in a game that Madrid went on to win 3-1, with the third goal arriving late on.

"(Koeman's comments) annoyed me, yes, because I never get involved with the referees," Zidane said ahead of his side's game against Granada on Wednesday.

"Referees are part of the game and they also can make mistakes, like the players. I don't ever get involved because it is complicated. Nothing else to add, though, we have an important game tomorrow and we're thinking about that."

Koeman had said that "even asking 10 people in Madrid, nine would tell you it was a penalty."

Zidane was later asked about referees again and it was pointed out that since the Clasico at Camp Nou, Madrid have been awarded five penalties and Barça three.

"It's true a lot has been said about what happens in our games," he added. "That comes with Real Madrid, but it's a little much to keep speaking about this because what interests us is the game tomorrow.

On that game, the French coach said Luka Modric would not be risked and that Eden Hazard is recovered and could feature.

Zidane avoided talking about the creation of a European Super League or about Isco or Marco Asensio, who are not playing as much as they would like.
