The coach will be missing Hazard and Casemiro for the Valencia game on Sunday

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane recognised that the coronavirus is hampering his plans. Eden Hazard and Casemiro are out for Sunday's clash with Valencia because they tested positive for the virus.

"In the end, life is like this," Zidane told reporters. "You have to adapt to the situation. It happened with Militao and now Casemiro and Hazard. We have to accept it and know that there are people who have it worse than us. The two are very responsible and they caught it. It's hard to explain. I'd prefer to have them but it can't be so. It's worrying because we should work individually in training, but it is what it is. Our strength is in the team, above the individuals and absences."

He says the duo are well. "I spoke with them and they are fine, physically well, but they should stay away until it's over. We have to accept it and they will return."

On Odegaard, he added: "He's well. We know his quality. He just got here and has to adapt 100 per cent. Physically he's doing better and has to go bit by bit, I have no doubts about the kind of player he is."
