Yuri: "I can see Neymar returning to LaLiga wearing a white shirt"

Yuri Berchiche joined Athletic Club from Paris Saint-Germain this summer. Last season he shared a dressing room with Neymar, Cavani, Mbappé and Verrati and has fond memories of his time in the French capital. The full-back had a good relationship with everyone at PSG and, in particular, Neymar Jr.

Yuri admitted that he felt a little "scared" to enter PSG's dressing room the first time and be surrounded by so many world class players. However, although he remembers his time in Paris fondly, it didn't work out for him at the club and he decided to pack his bags and return to Spain, this time with Athletic Club.

During his stay in Paris, Yuri had the opportunity to strike up a friendship with Neymar and this allowed him to get to know the Brazilian even better. "I see him returning but more in white than in blue and red. He was very happy at Barcelona. He still likes La Liga because I spoke with him about it, we have a good friendship, and he's a fantastic person," added Yuri. "If he joins Madrid I wish him the best of luck," he told 'El Larguero'.
