Toni Kroos surprises Valencia with a corner goal
The German whipped in a corner to leave Jaume Domenech stunned
Bad news in the Spanish Super Cup for Valencia. After 15 minutes Albert Celades's team conceded in embarassing fashion. Toni Kroos scored directly from a corner to give Los Blancos the lead.
Jaume Domenech was out of position and not ready when the German whipped in the dead ball and the keeper reacted slowly, only able to fist it into the roof of his own net.
Domenech had let in a corner goal in the Copa del Rey semi against Real Betis, to Joaquin Sanchez.
