The Belgian is currently winning the battle to be Real Madrid's No.1

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois spoke in the mixed zone afyer his side's win over Celta Vigo on Sunday, analysing the team's form and his relationship with Keylor Navas, his rival for the gloves in the Spanish capital.

Courtois, started in the last three La Liga and Champions League games, says there has been no special conversation between the goalkeepers and new coach Santiago Solari -- insisting he has a good rapport with Costa Rica's Navas, who has been left on the bench.

"People always think that because one or the other is playing, we're fighting," Courtois said. "That's not the case. We train with a lot of motivation, smiles, and we get on really well. We try to show we're at our best and [Solari] chooses who plays."

He also praised Karim Benzema, who has refound his form: "He has always looked good. The criticise him too much because he doesn't score goals, but he helps the team a lot to create chances and doing things that sometimes you don't see. I am really happy for him."

Finally, on Madrid winning four games in a row, the latest 4-2 against Celta Vigo, he said: In previous games things didn't go for us. We've also had some fortune (recently), like the post at 0-0 (by Celta). The quality has not changed, nor has the team. But there's more confidence."
