The data which proves that Real Madrid's BBC are in crisis

Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo have not been able to halt Madrid's four-game drawing run

The numbers are cold, very cold, but they reflect the situation. Everyone speaks about the potential of the BBC (Bale, Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo) but their numbers aren't good. In fact, Madrid won their first four official games of the season. Since then, the BBC have played 281 minutes together and each member has scored just once. More data which reflects their poor form is that they average a goal every 83 minutes.

Bale, Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo played 67 minutes together against Sporting Lisbon, but didn't score when they were on the pitch. Madrid ended up winning 2-1 thanks to a goal from Ronaldo after Bale and Benzema had been taken off. Alvaro Morata scored the winner. They featured for 72 minutes against Villarreal (1-1) in La Liga and didn't score. Against Las Palmas they spent just eight minutes together and Benzema scored; in Dortmund they played 89 minutes and Ronaldo scored; and against Eibar Bale scored in their 45 minutes together.

If they haven't played more games together it's because physically they've not been fit enough, although Zidane has tried to use them, even though their form -- in the case of Ronaldo and Benzema -- has been poor. They start games regardless and that provokes a bad atmosphere in the dressing room, especially in the case of Lucas Vazquez and Morata, who suffer as a result and see their time on the pitch limited. Benzema is seen as Zidane's Golden Boy as his fitness this season has been very limited.
