Zidane's team have struggled with injuries and scoring goals

Real Madrid have stopped working. Zinedine Zidane's side were beaten for the second time this week on Wednesday as they lost to Tottenham, confirming the doubts which have surfaced in recent weeks. 

They have now drawn three and lost three of their 18 games this season, with their win rate from last season dropping from 75 percent to 66 percent. 

Here's some interesting data from their start to the season...

Isco, Zidane's first change

  • Just five complete games
  • Taken off in 11 of 16 games 
  • Cristiano, never taken off in 12 games, like Ramos (16), Nacho (13) and Carvajal (11).

18 games, 18 teams (conditioned by injuries): 11 defences, 12 midfields and 7 different attacks

  • Defence (11): The favoured defence has started just four games together: Carvajal (7 games injured), Varane (3), Ramos and Marcelo (3). They lost 0-1 against Betis. 
  • Midfield (12): The favoured midfield has started seven games: Casemiro, Modric, Kroos (2 injured) and Isco have lost three games and drawn one. There have been 11 other different midfield combinations. 
  • Attack (7): The BBC have played 0 games. Bale (7 injured) and Benzema (6) have played five together, 1 draw; with Cristiano (5 games banned) and Benzema, two defeats and a draw. Five other forward lines:  3 with Cristiano at the only attacker; 2 with Benzema and another 2 with Cristiano-Bale.

No player has played in all 18 games

  • Every player's started one game: Vallejo, 1; Mayoral, 2; y Ceballos y Llorente, 3 and Theo, 4. The five new players.

  • Last season they were scoring 2.8 goals per game, 0.8 more than now.   
  • Goals conceded per game has risen from 0.84 to 0.88.
